BIOGRAPHY
Fr. Giuseppe Scollo was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Toronto in 2007. After completing his doctoral studies in biblical theology, he joined the academic and formation faculty of St. Augustine’s in 2018. He served as an Associate Pastor at St. Marguerite d’Youville Parish (Brampton), from 2007 to 2008, as the Vice-Rector of the Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary, from 2018 to 2021, and as the Pastor of St. Clare's Parish (Toronto), from 2021 to 2023. Fr. Scollo currently teaches a number of courses in biblical theology, including Introductions to both NT and OT. In addition to his responsibilities at St. Augustine’s, Fr. Scollo is actively involved in ongoing catechetical instruction and pastoral work for the Archdiocese of Toronto in a number of areas related to the Word of God and the New Evangelization, is a full member of several biblical associations (e.g., ABI, CSBS and CBA) as well as a much-admired and sought-after speaker for Lenten Missions, Retreats, Presentations, Workshops, and Keynote Addresses, throughout the Archdiocese of Toronto and beyond.
